Who can fly?

We welcome flyers of all ages, all abilities (from age 3+). There are very few reasons why you may not be able to fly, and we are proud of our record of flying those with disabilities of every nature.

You should, however, check the criteria below before you book.

We want everyone to fly

Our mission is to deliver the dream of flight to everyone, so we will do all we can to ensure you can fly! You may fly if you are:

  • Under 18 stone and 7 pounds (117kg) in weight
  • 3 years of age or above (flyers should be able to comfortably wear our flight equipment)
  • NOT pregnant
  • NOT previously dislocated a shoulder
  • NOT under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs

All flyers will be required to complete an online waiver declaring they’re fit to fly. Flyers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over 18 years of age) on the day of flight, who will be required to authorise participation.

All abilities are very welcome

Individuals and groups with additional needs or requirements can fly and we’d be delighted to hear from you.

What others say

"For people with injuries or disabilities, iFLY Indoor Skydiving is ideal. The experience gives our members the feeling of being active again, and being able to do something that is both challenging and exciting. It’s great to see everyone’s spirits so visibly lifted from their time in the tunnel".

Rosie Thompson - The Not Forgotten Association

“I can’t speak highly enough of the iFLY experience. At BLESMA we deal with wounded Soldiers and Veterans, some of whom have really traumatic injuries and severe disabilities. Going in the tunnel allows them to experience something which is completely outside the norm and watching the difference that makes is incredible. Having the feeling of flying is amazing for those of us who are fully able-bodied, it’s like nothing else I’ve ever done, but having that freedom for guys and girls with limited mobility can be life-changing.

Dave Coulton – BLESMA, The Limbless Veterans
